Former Lawmaker Tells Senate to let Medevac Families Speak

A former lawmaker and Education commissioner questioned the priorities of some who followed her into the V.I. Legislature. At the time the Senate Health Committee was considering a bill regulating animal shelters. What irked the former senator was an apparent lack of concern for shelters holding sick Virgin Islanders evacuated after Hurricanes Irma and Maria.
